As the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) reminds our country of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students. PTA elected officers hold a term for 2 years. At the end of this school year, this left an opening for President & Treasurer.
PTA elections took place during our General Membership meeting on May 18th. As a result, our current Vice President and Treasurer will be transitioning to a different roles, but we must say good-bye to Sarah Penney (President). Sarah has played a huge role over the past 4 years (2 years as Vice President and 2 years as President). We want to thank Sarah for her commitment and leadership. She will certainly be missed.
